i’m just going to go down the route of backing up my files and hoping my external hard drive fares better than the computer itself then system recovery and starting over

system recovery seems to be the only option once i get home and transfer all the things to my external hard drive then assuming facade doesn’t blow that hard drive i can just copy everything but facade to the computer once it’s back with literally nothing on it
